We bring diverse capabilities and experience into the utilities planning and outside plant engineering space, from data collection to designed and permitted construction deliverables, with a high level of accuracy.
Our partnerships with major telecommunications service providers, power companies, and jurisdictional authorities span over 18 years—and more than 37,000 utility poles and 6,500 route miles of fiber. Our successes in the utilities engineering industry include T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon’s small cell and tower deployments, a multitude of enterprise fiber service delivery projects, and power planning/estimating for both Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas & Electric.

Previous Work
The SCE Pole Loading Project (PLP) was a 9 year effort to collect field data on all 1.5 million SCE poles in California. Our team was instrumental in project management, training, quality control/assurance, pole remediation, and safety contributing to this effort at a rate of more than 100,000 poles a year. We have extensive experience in field data collection, overhead design, and quality control of both power and telecommunications. Ensuring GO95/GO128, and NESC compliance.
Our team has extensive experience in the fiber telecommunications industry engineering thousands of miles of fiber, deploying over 1,800 small cell sites, creating and maintaining records on one of the nation’s largest/busiest fiber networks, and performing circuit design and creating fiber infrastructure for enterprise customers and major projects across Southern California. Our engineers are Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certified, Fiber Optic Technicians (CFOT), and Certified Fiber Optic Specialists/Testing (CFOS/T).
Our planning professionals have completed the planning, design, and quality control of roughly 37,000 poles. In addition to pole remediation and replacement, our team has successfully designed and executed many tech jobs for SCE and PG&E including, but not limited to cutovers, reconductors, new construction, agricultural site relocations, EV power station design, massive circuit upgrades, and other corrective actions. We have also been tasked with emergency planning and design after wildfires in Northern and Southern California.
Before beginning a project, we’ll set up a comprehensive exploratory call with you, the project manager, to determine whether our consultants meet your needs.
Once we’ve established the partnership, we’ll put pen to paper and define the scope of work, including milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Our consultants are communicative and responsive and will reach out promptly should any questions arise. We’ll work in tandem with your team to ensure we’re meeting and even exceeding expectations.
Once deliverables are complete, you’ll have the opportunity to review for quality and accuracy and to ensure that you’re happy with the finished product.
With the first project successfully complete, you’ll have a trusted partner in place should future needs arise.
