HNM Systems Announces Emily Murphy’s Promotion to Vice President of Operations
SOLANA BEACH, Calif., Oct 21, 2021— HNM Systems, an award-winning staffing and consulting agency, has announced the promotion of Emily Murphy to Vice President of Operations, effective immediately. In her new role, Emily will oversee all day-to-day operations including HNM’s Recruiting and Delivery, Engineering and People Operations teams and processes. Emily will continue reporting to HNM Systems’ CEO and President, Heather Moyer.
Emily began her career at Target where she held multiple leadership positions in Operations and Merchandising before being promoted to the Store Director role. As a Store Director, Emily successfully executed core people programs for a team of over 200 employees. During Emily’s tenure at Target she successfully built out the infrastructure for key talent and development initiatives and managed more than $50MM in annual revenue. In 2019, after 9+ years of working with Target, Emily accepted the role as Head of People Operations at HNM Systems and has been building and creating a People strategy for HNM Systems’ future growth.

During her time as Head of People Operations, Emily developed and implemented key learning and development programs, built and executed an enterprise Career Mapping strategy, improved talent acquisition and increased internal employee and customer assigned employee retention to more than 90 percent. Emily also managed core employee engagement initiatives and maintained nationwide compliance requirements. During the last year, Emily was key in developing and executing on the company’s COVID-19 strategy and roadmap which has helped HNM retain or redeploy over one hundred employees contracted to our valued customers.
