Overview
We are seeking experienced Commissioning/RF Integration Technicians across Levels I, II, and III to support commissioning, optimization, and troubleshooting of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and emergency responder communication systems. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel and hands-on technical expertise across complex RF environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, optimize, and troubleshoot DAS across ERRCS, CERS, cellular, WiFi, and ROIP systems.
- Perform on-site inspections and testing with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and customers.
- Communicate RF design requirements and revisions with engineering teams.
- Coordinate commissioning schedules and inspections with project managers.
- Use RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, sweep testers, optical meters, transmitters, and receivers.
- Identify system deficiencies, document findings, and support corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and best-practice guidance to installation teams.
- Deliver on-site training to installation partners and field personnel.
- Maintain manufacturer certifications across major ERRCS and DAS platforms.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DAS / ERRCS integration and commissioning.
- FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL).
- NICET IB-PSC Level 1 certification (required).
- Strong RF troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and annotate RF designs.
- Experience working independently in complex, multi-system environments.
- Strong communication skills with contractors, fire marshals, and building owners.
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET IB-PSC Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Fiplex, ADRF, Comba NG, SOLiD, Nextivity, Anritsu).
- Experience with fire alarm system integration.
- Data centre project experience.
- Experience supporting emergency responder systems.
Work Environment / Additional Information
- Field-based position with weekly travel.
- Typical travel schedule: Sunday evening through Thursday.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $110,000+ annually, depending on experience and level.
