Overview
We are seeking an Information Technology Manager to lead and support day-to-day IT operations for a growing organization with multiple facilities across the United States and plans for international expansion. This role combines hands-on technical responsibilities with leadership and coordination across systems, infrastructure, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing operational support with long-term systems planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and enterprise systems
- Administer and support Cisco Meraki environments (routing, switching, and connectivity)
- Oversee Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Exchange, and Windows systems
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and end-user issues across the organization
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve technical challenges
- Support onboarding by configuring laptops, accounts, and system access for new employees
- Monitor system performance, conduct backups, and ensure business continuity
- Implement and maintain IT security practices, including audits and risk mitigation
- Manage IT inventory, procurement, and lifecycle of hardware and software assets
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and maintain accurate system documentation
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Provide training and support to staff on technology tools and systems
- Participate in planning and executing technology improvements and upgrades
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in IT systems administration, network management, or similar roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (routing and switching)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, and Windows environments
- Experience with .NET technologies and Microsoft SQL Server
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure, firewalls, backups, and security protocols
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience supporting multi-site operations or distributed environments
- Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management and compliance practices
- Prior experience mentoring or leading IT staff (formal management experience not required)
Work Environment / Travel / Schedule
- Standard business hours with occasional need for extended hours based on operational needs
- Primarily office-based with frequent computer use
- Minimal travel expected
