Overview
Our customer is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to support enterprise-scale system deployment initiatives within utility and infrastructure environments. This role involves direct collaboration with customers to design, implement, and support advanced network and system solutions deployed in customer-owned data centers.
You will play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery by coordinating across engineering, operations, and project management teams while guiding customers through technical decisions and implementation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to define project scope, requirements, and deployment activities
- Design and document system and network deployment solutions
- Support implementation of large-scale network and system deployments in enterprise environments
- Assist project managers in planning greenfield deployments and major system upgrades
- Define roles, responsibilities, and expectations across stakeholders
- Guide customers through technology decisions, trade-offs, and implementation strategies
- Manage customer relationships and maintain high satisfaction throughout project lifecycles
- Support organizational and technical change management initiatives
- Identify and address evolving customer needs and new requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, sales, and operations
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision
- Ensure successful system deployment and delivery outcomes
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, product development, or solution delivery
- Experience in one or more of the following environments:
- Telecommunications network deployments (wired/wireless)
- Large enterprise systems or data centers
- Internet or application service providers
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle Database
- Strong networking expertise, including:
- Cisco IOS or IOx
- TCP/IP fundamentals
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with requirements gathering, resource coordination, and project planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of IPv6
- Experience working with utility systems (gas, water, or electric)
- Familiarity with metering or distribution automation technologies
- Experience with GIS, CIS, or other utility-related platforms
- Background supporting enterprise technology, telecommunications, or infrastructure organizations
Work Environment / Additional Information
- Hybrid work arrangement (home-based with onsite client work 2–3 days per week in Manila)
- Travel required across the Asia-Pacific region
- Activities include onsite design workshops, deployment execution, and implementation support
