Overview
Our customer is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permitting & Inspections Coordinator to support Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Emergency Responder Radio Communication System (ERRCS) projects. This position serves as a central point of coordination for permit submissions, jurisdictional approvals, inspection scheduling, document management, and project close-out activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, project teams, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure all permit packages, inspections, corrections, and approvals are managed accurately and efficiently.

Ability to travel on occasion – <5% annually. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, verify, and submit complete DAS/ERRCS permit packages.
  • Track permit status and maintain ongoing communication with AHJs and permitting agencies.
  • Coordinate permit corrections and resubmittals with engineering and design teams.
  • Schedule inspections and manage inspection-related documentation.
  • Prepare inspection packets and coordinate required follow-up actions.
  • Manage final approvals, close-out documentation, and project recordkeeping.
  • Maintain accurate project files and organized documentation.
  • Communicate project status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist with process improvement and workflow coordination efforts.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with permitting, AHJ coordination, or fire/life-safety systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with DAS, ERRCS, low-voltage, telecommunications, construction, or related infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation and records.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting telecommunications, public safety, or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
  • Experience coordinating permitting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or permitting management software.
  • Experience supporting inspections, plan reviews, and close-out processes.
  • Knowledge of DAS and ERRCS systems and project lifecycle requirements.

Benefits

  • Salary: $62,400 to $75,000 per year DOE (Exempt)
