Overview
Our customer is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role serves as a central point of coordination between internal teams, field personnel, vendors, and project stakeholders to help ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and compliant with company and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing project documentation, schedules, reporting, and communication across multiple workstreams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple telecommunications projects from initiation through completion
  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation activities
  • Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Communicate project status, updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Coordinate activities between engineering, construction, field operations, and vendor teams
  • Schedule site surveys, installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities
  • Maintain project documentation, permits, contracts, and compliance records
  • Ensure project data accuracy within project management and reporting systems
  • Identify project risks and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Support procurement activities, including equipment ordering and vendor coordination
  • Facilitate meetings, document action items, and track follow-up activities
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of project coordination, telecommunications, construction, or related experience
  • Knowledge of wireless, broadband, fiber optic, or telecommunications infrastructure projects
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, SiteTracker, or similar tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Telecommunications industry experience
  • Understanding of telecom construction, network deployment, or fiber installation projects
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with GIS systems and large datasets
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, reporting, and data reconciliation
