Overview
Our customer is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex technology programs spanning cloud platforms, data initiatives, and customer-facing applications. This individual will serve as a strategic partner across engineering, product, architecture, and business teams, ensuring successful execution of high-priority initiatives while maintaining strong governance, communication, and delivery excellence.
The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of technical understanding, program leadership, stakeholder management, and operational execution experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale technical programs across multiple teams, business units, and global locations.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to define program scope, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
- Drive delivery of cloud, data platform, and customer-facing technology initiatives.
- Manage program timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, key decisions, and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, delivery processes, and reporting mechanisms.
- Drive Agile best practices and improve operational efficiency through process optimization and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate external vendors, strategic partners, and third-party stakeholders when required.
- Ensure alignment with security, regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, architecture, and business organizations.
- Support strategic planning, roadmap execution, and enterprise delivery initiatives.
- Drive decision-making and issue resolution across complex, cross-functional environments.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience or a similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex enterprise applications, distributed systems, or data platforms at scale.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-based solution delivery.
- Knowledge of APIs, systems integration, and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts and modern data platforms.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple organizations and locations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with experience navigating ambiguity and driving decisions.
- Experience in managing risks, dependencies, and enterprise delivery programs.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in technical or business discipline.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance programs.
- Experience supporting globally distributed teams and technology organizations.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and strategic partnerships.
