Overview
HNM Systems is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to support wireless and RF system design for large-scale infrastructure projects. This desk-based, remote role focuses on delivering high-quality RF designs using iBwave and CAD tools, with an emphasis on public safety iDAS and enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize wireless communication systems using iBwave and CAD tools.
- Develop and review RF designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to execute project plans and deliver quality solutions.
- Conduct site surveys, RF modelling, and design validation to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to RF design and system implementation.
- Contribute to design documentation and maintain accurate project records.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in RF design or wireless communications.
- Hands-on experience using iBwave and/or RF-focused CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of RF modelling, signal propagation, and wireless design principles.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage communication effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- iBwave Level 2 certification.
- Experience supporting public safety iDAS projects.
- Background working on large-scale projects; data center experience is a plus.
